I’m the guy who did the German language packs for EE and some other stuff. Look here German language packs download

I’m about to use MX Toolbox and wanted to translate your addon. I can see that there are some strings whithin mcp.mx_tool_box.php. Those would be needed in the language pack in order to fully translate your software.

Would you consider to change things?

Just had a quick look. From what I can see, the labels for the navigation buttons like “Fields Clone”, “Fields Order” etc. (in mcp.mx_tool_box.php) are not in the language file.

+ I add titles/alt to info-icons.

By the way, could it be that the Fields Order function isn’t available anymore in v.1.1.0? I get “The requested module page could not be found.” on that page.

Hi Max, Thanks for MX Tool Box! The Field Cloner saved me some time today. I hate tedious jobs like copying Matrix fields.
By the way, the Fields reorder came up with this error “The requested module page could not be found.” I’m on EE 2.1.1

     

Sorry to all for delay - next version has more function but needs more attention to details.

Filed reorder page issue was fixed in mx_tool_box_1_1_1.zip - you can download it right now.

     

Hi Max,

I have been experiencing a PHP problem since yesterday, after duplicating one field with MX Tool Box.

I have two times tried to make a copy of one “selected” custom field via the FILEDS CLONE button. It didn’t work, some operational mismatch from my side.. So third time i tried to click directly on the icon next to the field itself, which was the correct action to do. It finaly replicated the field. But since then i get this PHP error when Publishing Entry in channel with that CF group.

Line Number: 1516

Not sure if it is the MX Tool Box issue. Any idea? Thanks!

UPDATE:

The problem disappeared after creating a new group with a new member with access to the CP. After this, even for the original member group the Publishing Entry got OK. No PHP bug any more. Thanks to Max for a quick assistance!

I’m having the same problem as above, everytime I try to clone a field I get a PHP error:

This appears on the edit entry page and it also messes with the formatting of the whole page and custom fields. Can’t seem to get rid of the error, I’ve tried creating a new member group and member but that doesn’t fix it.

I also can’t save any publish layouts for the channel with the fields I tried cloning.

I tried uninstalling the module but still getting the errors. The install has MSM running on it. Don’t know if that makes a difference.

Removing the saved layout and re-saving it seemed to fix the problem. Is this a bug in the module?
